Recorded: Workplace Chronicles Podcast – ASERL (September 2026)

Earlier this year, Elaina Norlin invited me to be a guest on the Workplace Chronicles podcast (presented by the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries). Our conversation focused on my low-morale experience studies and also went further into how I’ve been:

  • considering and supporting low-morale experience recovery and healing;
  • leveraging coaching skills to support library workers who have to stay in harmful organizations (or who are ready to leave such organizations or the LIS field);
  • expanding pathways for leaders to shift identify and interrupt negative workplace behaviors; and
  • invoking critical hope, reimagination, and creativity to help library workers at all levels move towards self-preservation.

The episode is now available! Thanks to Elaina for inviting me and for an energizing conversation.

If you’re curious about the power of impactful coaching questions based in research and experience – and ready to move towards a growth- and healing-based mindset – let’s set up a Connection Call!
